The purpose:
Another Planet offers photography tours and regular tours in Iceland.
The legal stuff:
Another Planet has a full permission to function as a tour operator. This permit is provided by Icelandic Tourist Board which, in accordance with the Tourism Act, designates a tour operator as a party, whether an individual or a legal entity who, whether on his own initiative or in complying with a customer’s request, organises, offers and sells to the public for a professional purpose, travel-related services.
Governing Law / Jurisdiction:
Another Planet operates in accordance with Icelandic law.
Cancellation policy:
Day Tours
Should Another Planet need to cancel the tour, it is fully refundable or we will seriously hunt for a replacement tour, though not to be guaranteed or expected.
Should the customer need to cancel the tour, the deposit will be retained if the notice is more than one month. If the cancellation notice is less than one month, there is no refund.
In case of flood, volcano eruption, closed roads or storm warning by the Icelandic Met Office, we will discuss this with the customer and may agree upon a mutual cancellation if the situation demands it, or set another date. Because we might need to cancel for the reasons above, we strongly advise our customers to have a good travel insurance.
Northern Lights Tours
The northern lights are a natural phenomenon and we monitor the aurora forecast and base our decision to go on them. We do not go northern light hunting unless we think there is a very good chance of seeing them, if we go and the lights do not appear there is no refund and we will not go another night.
Good to know:
Accommodation and food is not included in the price unless it says so in the description.
Travel insurance is not included in the price, so customers are advised to have personal travel insurance.
Before you start the tour, be sure to have email contact with us.
Your guide´s mobile number is at the bottom of the confirmation email from Another Planet.
In case of a hotel pickup, please be sure to leave the guide information regarding the hotel you are staying at, as well as the room number.
If you have any complaints or comment, please let us know as soon as possible via email. We value all comments and will make an effort to better ourselves where needed.
Privacy Policy:
We respect your privacy and do not tolerate spam. We will never sell, rent, lease or give away your information (name, address, email, etc.) to any third party.
Terms of payment:
We accept payments via wire transfer (no additional cost on our behalf) or via Visa / Mastercard (a 1,5% fee may apply).
Other:
Another Planet reserves the right to take photographs or videos during the operation of any expedition or part thereof and to use the resulting photography for promotional purposes. By making a reservation with Another Planet expeditions, participants agree to allow their images to be used in such photography; participants who prefer that their image not be used are asked to identify themselves to their guide at the commencement of their trip.
Comments

Media
